Comfortably numb...
Man, are Mum's anti-histamines strong. I took one at about 9pm, crashed at 10.30pm, and didn't wake up until 11.30am when Mum came in to make sure I was actually still alive. And I'm still feeling really slow and stupid, like an ant struggling through amber.
I went out to the golf course with the parentals and helped plant bulbs. That was nice - sun, cool breeze, kangaroos on one of the tees, dirt on my hands... Nothing major to think about or to feel about. Just being.
I think I'll go through my tai chi pattern later. See if I can't stir the body up a bit.
Apologies to anyone who has emailed me recently and is waiting for a reply. I appreciate all of the thoughts therein, just I have so very little energy at the moment, and my brain seems to have melted away into a puddle of goo. Hopefully that will change by next week.
It's good not to feel anything for a change.
