The kindness of strange friends.

So, there was GASP. Nine people in my little two bedroom unit. *grins* I had a great time, but it's kinda nice to have some quiet time now - my ears have stopped ringing at last. ;)

I'm slowly pulling myself back together. Brain's starting to work a bit more effectively, and I'm dealing better with things in general. I'm still not great with stress and tiredness, but hey, it'll take a bit. But even Mum saw the change in me over this weekend, and she thanked various people accordingly. *grins*

I am completely shagged, so I won't post much here. Can GASPers email me or post to their LJs when they get back? Just so I know you survived the drives home? Coolness.d

Okay, brain's working now.

The wonders of a hot bath and a cup of tea. :)

There's a couple of things I've neglected to do/say over the GASP time, so I'm doing it now whilst I remember.

First:

Acey is a wonderful person who sent me a surprise package and succeeded in making me happy dance in front of my magistrate.

*grins* Yep, I collected it during my lunch hour on Wednesday - such a long time ago, it seems! - and there was much squealing and coo-ing and general pleasedness. *smooches the Acey breathless* Thank you so very much, SheepBoy. :)

Those GASPers who wanted CDs burned - Bounce and MC mainly, I think - let me know a mailing address and I will get said CDs to you. Others seeking copies of various things, such as the Andrew Denton CD with the Rolf Harris sexual experience, let me know who wants what. :)

Two things left behind at my place by folks - someone's shampoo and conditioner, and a sketchbook, possibly belonging to Bounce. Again, these can be mailed with the provision of addresses/owner's identities. Email me.

*grins* Amanda, this Debra Conway CD kicks all sorts of arse. Even if "White Roses" made me cry in the tub. ;) But there's plenty of 'strong woman taking charge' songs too. And "Will You Miss Me When You're Sober" is just cool on so many levels.

Glad to hear the Melbournites are back safe and sound. Many thanks again for your welcome presence - as always, it was just too short. I will try and make another Melbourne trip before Walkabout, as well as the trip to Sydney in July - with Dad offering to cover half the rent for the period I'm here on my own, I might be able to manage it. Especially if that backpay comes through. *nods* That's what I can use some of it for, getting to see ficcers. :)
