For those interested...

I meant to post this yesterday, but didn't have time earlier when I did remember, and then forgot. So I'm posting a link to the Insight program about Aussie TPIs and their fight to get appropriate benefits.

Scroll down to the Use-By Date story and check out the transcript. There's also an interview with Danna Vale, Minister for Veteran's Affairs - I spent a lot of that part of the program yelling at the TV screen.

Looking for distraction...

Gah, only 12.30pm and I'm bored out of my skull. I do have work, but I just don't want to do it. *shrugs* Eh, it's Friday, I'm allowed to slack off slightly.

What's making the day drag more slowly is the fact I'm going to go see my boy David Bridie at the Corner Hotel tonight - I managed to get a ticket, singular, at the last minute. Sorry [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I couldn't stretch it to two. Not before payday next Wednesday, anyway. Damn credit card bill. So yeah, anticipation makign things harder.

And somewhere along the line I became the workplace massuse. Word has gotten out that I'm good at shoulder rubs, and people keep wandering past muttering about stiff shoulders and whimpering at me. I don't mind doing the occasional shoulder rub, but it does get a bit annoying when a) I never get one back, at all; and b) people over-abuse the service and demand a massage, regardless of what I'm doing at the time.

I'm still working on the plan to get work to pay for me to do a course that will give me actual accreditation and then I'll be able to charge money for it. Something that didn't show up in my career plan - becoming a massuse. ;)

Better get back to it - I've been slacking off for the past hour.
