You lot? Suck. I've got four hours to go on my very last night shift, and do you think anyone's emailed me? Nope. Well, except for Frito, so she doesn't suck. But the rest of you Northern 'Spherers do. Bah.

I'm going to have to write some findings of death to stop myself from falling asleep, aren't I?



Note: This is entirely not-serious. If people are busy, people are busy. But my counsellor would be so proud of me for not saying it's because I'm the sucky one... *grins*

My relief's here, which means I'm stumbling home and sleeping. Many thanks to all those not-so-sucky-now people who pinged me - log replies will now be suspended for abour 12 hours whilst I make myself unconscious.

A couple of observations on human behaviour...

1) It seems that people will react far more to being told they suck (even in a humorous way) than they will to a simple friendly request. This seems very odd.

2) People get defensive when you tell them they suck, even when you've clearly said you're joking. I keep forgetting sometimes my humour is not like other people's humour.

That being said... Thank you to those you responded to the whinging. *grins* It's a long shift, I'm on my own for the bulk of it and there's only so much actual work you can do at 3am before your brain starts crawling out your ears. At that point I'm purely reactive - pager, phone, undertakers dropping off people.

In all, not a bad night for my last - plenty to keep me busy, that's for sure, without being crazy. The government contractors are convinced I'm in league with Death, tho', since two nights running we ended up with at least five new reports.

Now to get dressed, get some food and go down to the gym while the sun is still up. It's time to play Reset That Body Clock, yay!
