Well, that was easy...

Admittedly, it's not really that difficult a job, or even that well-paying, but hey, after three years of bashing my head against the wall of the Department of Justice's interview policies, I'm justified in feeling a little good about myself.

Any way. Job. I have one. Start tomorrow morning at 10. I'm dishwashing to start since Christmas time is insanely busy, too busy to train, but it means I get used to the place and hey, brainless regular activity is actually something I'm looking forward to. And the pay scale is sliding - as I move up, so does the money.

So, go me.

*hees*

Snow doesn't fall, it floats.

Right now it looks like a snowglobe out there, or perhaps a ticker tape parade where people are throwing down fragments of tissue paper instead. It's all very novel, since the only snow I've seen falling has been in the ski resorts of Australia, where it's more a mixture of sleet and snow, and rather icky to be out in.

If this keeps up, I'll wander up to High Park this afternoon with my camera.

Also, a technical-ish question. I've noticed people using YouSendIt to post links to music downloads in their LJs, and I'm wanting to know how you do that since a) I now have access to broadband and b) I'm not hugely wealthy this Christmas and music is the Christmas gift to all that doesn't cost me. ;) I could just email folks directly with songs, but I was wanting to do "Rossi's 12 songs of the year" or something themic like that.

Help?

On the Twelfth Day Of Christmas, the Aussie Music Pusher Gave to Me...

Twelve songs by months - the songs either mention the month, or reflect certain attitudes for that month, or I've decided they fit so neener. ;) I may even explain the reasoning, if you ask nicely.

Editorial Note - I'm using Australian seasons. December-February is summer, June-August is winter.

January: "The Phillip Ruddock Blues" TISM Rock Against Howard.

February: "Hotel Radio" - David Bridie Hotel Radio.

March: "Two Weeks" - Twitch High Tied.

April: "Chocolate" Gus and Frank, Confessions of a Rooftop Killer.

May: Gypsy Girl Overnight Jones, My Private Train.

June: "All Comes Down" Ben Smith. Sounds of St Kilda.

July: "Feeler" Pete Murray Feeler.

August: "Drowned" Youth Group, Rock Against Howard.

September:"Today I'm A Daisy" Deborah Conway Bitch Epic.

October: "What Goes Around" Tina Kopa Sounds of St Kilda.

November: "Gough" The Whitlams, Introducing.

December: "10 or 11 Drink Clown" The Whitlams You Sound Like Louis Burdett EP.
