Triumph!

1) Rachel is Moved.

2) Cargo van has been safely returned to U-Haul without incident, even though it was the size of an orca and there was a torrential downpour on the way to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s place.

3) Caught the Jays game at the pub. Jays won against the Los Angeles Angels, 9-2. *whoops*

Easy like Sunday morning...

Or Sunday afternoon, even. *grins*

Today has been Me day. I've been spending it with the cats and the laptop, trying to get stuff done for Winding Way. There was even attempted sleeping in, although various circumstances impeded me there - bathroom the first time, cats chasing something from the roomie's room the second, whereupon I discovered the moronic people upstairs had flooded their bathroom again and there was water dripping through his bedroom ceiling (note to self, call the landlady tomorrow and try to convince her that yes, I do live here, so I can get the ceiling fixed :P ) and the third time when Spike broke into my closet, which is verboten to kitties after I discovered they've been climbing my dresses and pulling threads out of them. Eventually I gave up. The gods of sleeping in were not with me today.

There are potatoes in the oven, baking. There is A Knight's Tale on the TV and kitties asleep on the couch next to me (Angel was curled up with me earlier as I was reading). In a bit I shall call my folks and remind them I'm alive.
