Announcement

[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is Awesome. For many reasons, but especially for the fantastic group gift that arrived yesterday.

Also, I seriously walked to work in the snow today. We're currently be-blizzarded. Long live giant scarves knitted by mothers which you can wrap around your head to avoiding breathing in snow.

Safe at home

Considering it's almost zero visibility out there and the white stuff is piling up steadily, they decided to send us home early to make sure we would get home.

Walking in the snow is fun and a good workout, but I could do without the dodgy hip joint clicking in and out because I'm sliding all over the place. However, I am home, I have cats curled up on either side of me and a belly full of seafood udon from my favourite Japanese place and I'm not planning on going anywhere for the next little while.
