Christmas wrap

Hello there everyone! *waves* Yeah, it's been a little while since I posted, but apparently my brain turned into mush during the four-day Chrissie break I had. However, here I am again, with the post-Christmas, pre-New Year's post!

I had a very nice Christmas, thank you all. We had dinner with the roomie's family in Hamilton, and thankfully we had everyone in one place and didn't have to do the Toronto-Hamilton-London-Toronto shuffle and we were back at our place by about eightish that evening. I got a stocking from Bry's dad and step-mum, and I'd opened my box from my parents that morning - a gorgeous hand-knitted sweater that mum made, a hat to go with it and other Australian sundries, including more Vegemite than I'm going to be able to eat in a year. ;)

Most of my gifts were spread over the days, starting the 20th with our tree-trimming party. The tally is as follows:

Eight season DVD box set from the roomie and his pretty girl;

Season one of LOST from Greg;

A Bif Naked CD from Bernard and Hope;

Seasons one and two of Bones from Johnny and Mindy;

A proper Jays cap and a trivia/spelling/word construction game from the roomie's mum and step-dad;

A tonne of moisturisers from various work colleagues who are apparently trying to tell me something... ;)

A new wallet from Alvin - cranberry-coloured leather, very pretty;

Fudge sent over by the lovely [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], thank you very much!;

Home-made sweater, kitted hat, calendar, Vegemite and Tim Tams from my parents and a framed photo of my neiceling;

Stocking with various bits and pieces, including a copy of Ghostrider (!!!) and other more useful things from the roomie's dad and step-mum.

We also have a fridge full of Christmas dinner leftovers and what remains of the Yule log cake which the roomie loves, beyond any logic since it has chocolate, coffee and cream, all the things he dislikes in large amounts. ;)

Needless to say, the days off were spent watching Red Dwarf and watching the roomie play Assassin's Creed II and Afro Samurai. Although we did do a clean at one point and the place is much less cluttered.

I'm working today, tomorrow and half of Thursday (since I did my duty on Christmas Eve), and then have Friday off. Three day work week for the win! Even if I have two trials to prepare. Blech.
