"One of us is packing things in boxes..."
BRM moved most of his stuff out today. Which means I've been cleaning and shifting stuff around and sticking stuff in the shed and moving furniture and wrecking my back. *eeps* Yes, I moved the wardrobe again. Not as far this time, but!
But I now have a place to put my desk - and do tai chi in, seeing how big this room is! - and places to put things and generally spread. Which is good.
I had a nice birthday. Many thanks to all those who sent me birthday wishes via LJ. I also got "Happy Birthday" sung to me down the phone from Brisbane - the Man From Montana was in fine form *grins* - and I had a pleasant evening with my 'gathering'. Mum and Dad floored me by giving me $100 in my birthday card - travel money, they said - and BRM gave me a small expresso coffee maker and some coffee to go in it. *beams* This is good, and will nicely coordinate with the three bottles of wine I was given last night. ;)
Mother's Day tomorrow - I'm having lunch with the parentals and the grandparentals. Except I didn't have a chance to get Mum's gift today, with all the moving stuff. So I'll have to ride over to Albury on Monday after work and try not to get killed riding back in the dark.
*stretches* Tired now, as I usually am after this kind of thing. Moving stuff certainly takes it out of you.
Oh, on last thing - I think my email account is acting up. I've only gotten email from Gerg and Dex in the last two days - no spam, even. So if you've sent me email, let me know in here? I might have to get stroppy at my ISP and I'd rather be sure. After all, I could just be reaping the punishment of my no-email-replying habit. ;)
