Pride goes before a fall and some really bad news comes after a gloaty post.

We found out yesterday afternoon that Sue, a friend of Mum and Dad's since their Army days, was found dead yesterday. It looks like an aneurysm of some sort, and she'd been out on the verandah all night before she was found. She was only 53.

Mum and Dad are shattered. I drove them out to Wayne and Sue's house last night, and back again, because they started drinking pretty heavily as soon as they got the news - it's their coping mechanism. It's going to be a rough few days, and I doubt I'll be online much - not that I have been, but now it'll be less. I had an awful night's sleep, and I feel sick now.
