This is more like it.

I don't feel dead tonight.

This, as those who have been reading my LJ/know me, is an unusual occurance for the end of the (albeit shortened) working week. I'm a bit tired, yes, but it's a normal kind of tired, the kind of tired you expect after a long day of work. What's different is I don't feel absolutely energy-less, like my soul's been sucked out.

I feel good. *cues James Brown*

Not much happening otherwise - I am going to have an earlier night tonight, as tomorrow evening's plans don't call for that much in the way of sleep, and I am still a bit flu-ey. Not too bad, just a residual cough and a sniffle, but I don't want to overdo it. So, sleep tonight, and party tomorrow.

Something that occurred to me: Nick Cave's version of "The Passenger" is a good song to have in your head whilst you're walking anywhere. I was inches away from dancing my way to the tram stop. *grins* As it was, I was humming it to myself on the tram, and broke into song on the way home.

Damn, I feel great. *smooches the B12 bottle*

Hey, if it sounds like Cave, then that's good enough for me.

The original is by Iggy Pop, by the way; and the excelentHutchence cover is from the Batman Forever soundtrack.
