Hear me, my subjects!

*props herself up regally in bed among the pillows, lap top on her lap (d'uh!) and looks around imperiously. Effect spoiled by the red nose and hacking cough and the Red Dwarf shirt being used as a nightie*

I am sick. I am bored. Entertain me.

Or at least someone write another RSB post. ;)

Walkabout: The Updated Itinerary

(Note: I'm not doing this to rub my travel plans in people's noses. It just makes it easier than repeating myself a dozen times over when people ask. *grins*)

Updated Itinerary - with dates and times and stuff. :)

20 July - 3.35pm Depart Melbourne Melbourne Airport; duration: 22 hours 40 minutes. Thank goodness, not another 7.30 in the morning departure - you have to be there two hours prior and that's just EVIL. And there's no transport except taxis and that costs $30.

21 July - 5.15 am Arrive London Heathrow Airport. *winces* Ack, this sucks. I can always entertain myself in the airport for a while or make my own way into London if that's too horribly early, FarliChilde.

21 July - 30 July. London. Hanging with the BritFiccers! Staying with the FarliChilde! Drinking with Phil! Hmm, must remember to pack the stunt liver...

30 July - 12.05pm Depart London Heathrow Airport again; duration: 7 hours 50 minutes. *hehs* I might even get there resembling a human being for a change. ;)

30 July - 2.55pm Arrive Toronto Toronto International. Whichever terminal they decide on spur of the moment. ;) Not as pre-Dexcon as I wanted, but the Commonwealth Games are in Manchester the week before and flights are booked out. :P

2 August - 5 August. Dexcon

6 August - 29 August. Road Trip. Toronto to New Orleans, the Florida Keys and then up the east coast. With some truly excellent people.

September - mid-October. Road Trip II. *grins* This one's still being organised, but I may have an option for a trip from Toronto to Vancouver and then down the west coast and back across to Toronto. Floorspace being requested - areas to be determined once I get out my US road map and figure out good routes. ;)

mid-October - 22 November. Um. Stuff Still filling in this gap, but Halloween with ficcers sounds cool. :) Especially since Aussies don't do much for Halloween.

22 November - 9 am. Depart Toronto Duration 5hours 32 minutes.

22 November - 11.32 am Arrive Los Angeles And I hearby throw myself on the mercy of the SoCal crew. Adopt an Aussie for a week?

29 November - 8.15 pm Depart Los Angeles. Duration 18 hours.

1 December - 8.15 am Arrive Brisbane. And foist myself on the Brisbane Cohort for a bit. :) Any objections?

6 December - 9 December. Aussiecon This date isn't set in stone, just going off the previous two years. Aussie Ficcer fun in sunny Brissie. :)

"Get out the map..."

*grins* Indigo Girls have such nifty travelling songs. :)

Any way, I've been doing just that, poring over a road map of the States I got on on eof my Melbourne trips, and plotting for Road Trip II. That's the one to Vancouver, then down, possibly as far as LA, then back across-country to Toronto. In about six weeks/two months.

What I need from people are indications that they would be willing to provide floorspace/couchspace to two ficcers, [livejournal.com profile] iamgerg and myself. Along that route, roughly. What I will also need is a town and state - if you live in a small twon, the nearest larger place that would appear on a all-US road map. ;) I need this to work out an intinerary for the road trip bit, and would really appreciate some assistance in the accomodation stakes, as I won't be able to afford it otherwise. And I really want to meet as many ficcers as I can.

Yes, Yona, I know Massachussets. Give me a city you'll be in/near. ;) I'm still working on that bit.

I know this sounds a bit mercenary, but I do want to see as much geography/as many folks as I can. And I'm cute and have an accent that doesn't disappear. And I can cook. Does that help?
