Can I go back to bed now?

Okay, so I made it to work. Barely. The movie finished at 11.30 last night, and it was midnight by the time I got home. And anyone who knows me knows I need that eight hours, especially if I have work in the morning. As it was, there was recurring thumping of the snooze button on my alarm clock.

The movie... well, out of respect to those who haven't seen it yet, (see, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]?) I'll restrain my squealing (I remember what it was like with Lord of the Rings), but will say it's good. Very good. Brian Singer is a very clever scriptwriter - he's taken a whole lot of confusing comic continuity and made quite a comprehesible and entertaining story.

*grins* And you thought I was going to rave about the effects, didn't you?

Speaking of spoilers, I'm going to ask on behalf of the Brit ficcers on people's lists that judicious use of cutaways are used when talking about the new Matrix movies. Because they aren't getting them for another week after the rest of us, and it really sucks to be spoiled when you don't want to be. So, for [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], and any others who won't get the chance to see them, keep it safe, okay?

This has been a public service announcement for the preservation of ficcer sanity.

Well, at least he's honest...

*still laughing hysterically*

How's this for a formal application to a court to have a fine reduced?

"R I'm guessing he means "dear" Sir, I was bloody drunk when the ticket inspector caught me, even I don't remember that when they caught me...

...Give me one chance and I will be carefull next time. I'm the responsible citizen. Plz give me one more chance."

I've edited it into something a little closer to English (in this job I have learned to read Gibberish rather well) for my readers, but still, I like the blunt honesty there.

And yes, I did reduce his fine - he deserved a little something for the laugh he gave me. ;)

Andrew Denton Strikes Again!

Man, I love these CDs... I just traumatised several work colleagues with Volume 1.

Ah Rolf, you never fail me. :)
