Zzzzz...
It seems sometime today someone hit me with the Giant Fuzzy Mallet of Sleep. I'm just about ready to curl up under my desk and snooze.
Unfortunately I can't, and nor can I look forward to napping at home, for I have the second of our two work Christmas parties to go to. This one's the general Enforcement Management party, with Sheriffs and upper management and such. There's a few of us going purely for political reasons - the boss asked for some of us at least to show up so as to foster Good Working Relations, or some such guff. Since I'll probably need a reference from these people to get out of this job, I'll play along. Besides, there's door prizes and a raffle and all. *fingers crossed for the $100 JB Hi-Fi voucher*
It will be a quiet night for me, though, since I have my last weekend of househunting ahead of me. If I can't find anything suitable this Saturday, I'm taking the one that's already been offered. Although I've got my fingers crossed - there's some nice looking places that have popped up online in the last day or two.
*yawns* Man, I'd better have a Coke or two down at the pub, or they'll find me curled up asleep in the corner. Damn hot weather has been disrupting my sleep patterns, not to mention the stress dreams...
