Another day, another pile of applications...

Still, I have only four more actual work days before Christmas and what will effectively be three weeks off. I think I can make it. Barely.

No phone post last night - I was burning Christmas gift CDs and forgot. I'll try and remember tonight. I also called the person responsible for last Friday's tingly phone call and had my cranky mood well and truly lifted. Nothing like sweet and outrageous compliments to improve a bad mood and leave a silly grin on your face.

I'm going to have to go down to the chemist and grab some B12 at lunchtime, I think - I've been out for the past four days, and I'm starting to get that really tired feeling again, despite consumption of fishy things. It looks like I'm still still making up that shortfall from May. I'm also in the process of trying to empty my fridge of perishables, since it will be a week before Bounce arrives to house-sit for me and things will get extremely slimy by then.

Hrm, wish I had something interesting or witty to say, but I've been looking at revocation applications this morning and they're killed my brain. Brother's Chrissie gift is purchased, just leaving Mum and Dad - I think I'll check out the bank account and see how things are doing money-wise before I use eftpos again...

So, how has your day been going? Really, bored public servants want to know.

Well, it's been a while...

I haven't written X-fic for quite a while now, but [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s Powerswap Challenge broke the drought. In more ways than one - I haven't sat down and written a story in under a week for years now.

Although I only managed this one by sacrificing my soul to the Great Plot Demon - he wants another two stories out of this, at least. :P
