Good morning, world!
Today is a good day. Why? Because my genuis housemate, in a stroke of brilliance, suggested that perhaps my ongoing fatigue might be related to the lack of B12 in my life. A lack which I precipitated by not replacing the bottle I finished around Dexcon, because, hey, I was eating meat again, wasn't I? Turns out that chicken a couple of times a week wasn't cutting it, and a couple of days being back on my happy little vitamins has meant this morning I actually got up on time for the first time in weeks. I not only had time to dry my hair, I got to work five minutes early - unheard of after a month of getting in at 9:30 a.m. if I was lucky.
I'm a little sleepy, but that's the normal "having to get up and go to work" thing rather than the insane fatigue of earlier - I slept 12 hours Tuesday night and was still tired when I got up! - and best of all, I can wear my favourite black mini skirt again, because the meat-eating has had one benefit; less carbs means a slight weight loss, yay! And with the fatigue being identified and combatted, I'll be able to go back to the gym and work on the other 20 pounds that needs to go away. Whee!
Okay, I may be on a bit of a B12 high. Those are fun. :)
