Blackout
So, having seen the story about six times on various news services today, how did people cope with the blackout up there? Obviously past tense, since you can't actually answer until the power's back up. I've heard a lot about New York, but how are things in Toronto and elsewhere?
Sidenote: I am so bored. Boredboredbored. I so suck at keeping myself company. This damn virus better be gone by Monday, otherwise something drastic is going to happen.
And no, it isn't gone yet. I'm living off one and a half meals a day and a lot of water.

Not having air conditioning over night was not fun, but we did have a very slight breeze.
It’s was kind of odd not having access to the internet or TV. Even with phone service I felt kind of cut off from the world.
For the first time ever, I could see the kind of stars in the sky that’s only possible way out in the country.
All-in-all it hasn’t been too bad.
(get well soon)
