Are these my legs? They can't be, they're made of lead.
Not too long back from training - long enough to have a shower, a bowl of BRM's yummy risotto (wonder if I can bribe him to make it when BushCon is on?) and to do a quick lap around the boards in the hope the Subrealicon people have stopped having fun long enough to tell the rest of us what they did. *mock pouts*
Kicks training tonight - kharmic retribution for not training for two weeks, I'm sure. :P One and a half hours of various kick combinations, the names of which are completely different from what I'm used to. At least wearing a white belt meant I could afford to make mistakes, especially after the half-way mark when my legs started getting awful heavy. Now before you accuse me of being a slacker who deserves the pain she will undoubtably feel tomorrow, let me remind you I'd already ridden 10km to get there. :P And had another ten to get back, uphill this time. By the time I hit the home stretch, my knees were wobbling. I think I'm going to have to stash a mueslei bar in my jersey pocket for the trip home in future - or eat a bigger lunch. Food flats are not good things.
Still, I had plenty to eat when I got home, as the argument of last week yielded some results - BRM made dinner, like he'd promised to. And I had a really hot shower - just this side of boiling - which did my shoulders a lot of good.
Daunting stuff at work today - I had to process the cash, since Paula was away. *buffs nails on jacket* I'm good - it's only the second time I've done it and I managed no worries. We have court sitting tomorrow, with a female magistrate whose name escape me at the moment. I haven't clerked for her before, but Peter and Paula both says she's good. Just as well, it's a moderately large list. *yawns*
I should have an early night, since I'm going to be busy tomorrow. Night all. :)
