Baa...
1. Who was the last person you yelled at?
BRM, a couple of weeks ago. Just before I threatened to hit him if he called me 'melodramatic' again. ;)
2. Who was the last person you kissed?
Michael, also a couple of weeks ago. *sigh* No smoochies for me.
3.What was the last memorable book you read?
The Justice Game by Geoffrey Robertson.
Midnight Nation #7 JMS.
4. When did you last dance?:
Lessee... half an hour ago, around my lounge room to Hunters and Collectors.
5. Whats the last thing you want to hear from your parents?
"Your brother wants his house back."
6. When did you last go for a walk in the park?
Do bikes count? I rode through the various parks and bike ways of sunny Albury-Wodonga today. :)
7. When did you last do you ironing?
I forsee me and the iron having a quiet night in tomorrow night. I did laundry this week. Curse the Army upbringing. :P
8. When was the last time you smiled all day?
Ooh, tricky. Today came close, how about April 29th? Post-nookie grins are sorta like smiles...
9. What color of socks do you normally wear?
Black cycling socks while I'm on the bike (they're the thickest, warmest ones), purple woolly hiking socks at home, cute patterned ones at work, like the white ones with the bees all over them.
10. Did you ever attend a private school?
Nup, I'm the product of a purely public school education. ;)
11. Do you like stuffed animals?
With fava beans and a nicce Chian... okay Yas, stop looking at me like that. *hides face in hands* I have a teddy bear collection. And I have one that lives on my bed.
12. Have you ever smashed pumpkins?
Not unless you count mashing them after they're cooked.
13. Do you read labels when shopping for food?
Yep, sometimes. Because that sneaky meat stuff hides everywhere...
14. Can you quote Shakespeare?
Badly. But I love it any way. :)
15. Do you like playing baseball?
Baseball is a lame American game. Gimme a good game of Aussie Rules or cricket any day... whoa, extreme bogan moment there. Next I'll be drinking large amounts of beer adn driving a ute.
16. Are you a neat freak?
By genetics and by training. There's no escape when I get bored or have something else I should be doing.
17. What is the worst injury you have ever given someone?
Hrm, not counting the several bruised groins from various demonstrations, there's the foot-long centimetre-wide scratch on a sparring partner's forearm from a toenail, and the perfect side kick straight to someone's gut that winded her for a good while. I tend to get more injuries than inflict.
18. Do you ever eat lemons plain?
I have been known to, but I prefer them as cordial.
19. Have you ever fired a gun?
My grandfather's .22, when I was twelve.
20. Do you own any knee-high boots?
No - can't ride a bike or kick properly in them.
21. Are you attached to extreme people?
Excuse me?
22. Do you like swimming in lakes?
When I can find them. I learned to swim in a river near home when I was two or three - it took me fifteen years to learn how to tumble turn. Rivers don't have sides. ;)
23. Have you ever streaked at a football game or any other public event?
No, and I dare say my nation is grateful for that fact.
24. What is you favorite gemstone?
One that doesn't interfere with my sporting activities, so something small and not-hooky. ;)
25. Have you gone on many blind dates?
My best friend (at the time) set me up with someone when we were ten years old and going to a fancy dress party. I was dressed in my Hawaiian grass skirt outift, I seem to recall...
26. Has someone done something extra nice for you?
A toss-up between the e-roses Yasmin sent me in response to a LiveJournal whinge, or the card Ashlan sent me when I was sick, or the general Liseness of Lise. ;)
27. Did you have a crush on any of your teachers?
Year 12 Biology teacher, Ed Ripon. He was fresh out of teaching school and very hot. ;)
28. Have you ever been lost in a bad part of a city?
I stayed in a YMCA in the nasty part of Chicago for three days, not by choice.
29. Would you rather have a mint or fruit flavored gum?
Neither, but if you insist, mint.
30. Do you have road rage?
I'm a cyclsit. I pre-emptively rage in self defence. And if you cut me off deliberately, I will kick your tail-lights in.
31. Have you ever eaten grass?
Yep. Also used to smoke it, along with bits of bark and cane. *shrugs* It's a country kid thing, building fires, smoking stuff that was never intended to be inhaled...
32. Do you ever eat food right out of cans or jars?
When I'm home alone and I'm sick of dishes.
33. Has your mind ever gone blank?
Frequently. Most memorably whilst swearing a person in during court. The magistrate had to prompt me. *gaks*
34. Have you ever met anyone interesting at the laundry mat?
Nope, got my own set-up. But you meet the most interesting people on public transport...
35. Do you have recurring dreams?
Yes, with annoying frequency. I have dream re-runs. :P
36. Are you kind?
More so than I should be, methinks.
37. Would you give a needy person the shirt off your back?
Possibly, but I'd direct them to the place the court sends money to out of the Court Fund.
38. Do you have any beanie babies?
Not the brandbame ones, but I have Frank and Francisco, the Disco Frank, sitting on my 'puter.
39. Would you rather be hot or cold?
Cold - there's only so much clothing you can remove before being arrested.
40. Is the glass half full, or empty?
It's an indication that I need a refill.
41. Do you exercise or work regularly?
I work three days a week, train in karate two to three times a week, ride about 100km a week, occasionally rock climb, tear down hills at a great pace on a MTB... you tell me.
42. Could you kill if your life was threatened?
I sincerely hope it never comes to that. I have the physical skill, yes, but whether I have the emotional ability, I don't know.
