Business as Usual

Or perhaps that should be "Business as Unusual, since we actually have work. Quite a bit, in fact, although that could be due to the fact we're down about four people in revocations today.

It means I haven't really had time to do much besides work, although I've been using LJ reading to recharge my brain after one to many applications. Especially after the one with 61 fines I had to go through. Mind you, things have been pretty bloody quiet on my flist today. :P

Training tonight, and technically a social night afterwards. I think I'm going to pike on them with that, mainly because of the money situation. I'm trying to save for Auscon this weekend, where I'll be paying for accomodation and food and going out a bit more than usual. Which means spending more. Besides, with being out all weekend, I don't really need to go out tonight, and I'll see the karate folks next weekend at the camp.

Pay day today - well, technically tomorrow, but the money goes in this afternoon. Must remember to pay the phone bill tomorrow.

Oh, and I got my tickets to Canada yesterday.

Just a quick question, not entirely related to your post, do you know what the fine is for parking at an expired meter in Melbourne? Just a question, because the producer of the Aussi film crew that was at my theatre, made an off hand comment and it has been sitting at the back of my brain for a while.

It does. Here it's $20 and $12 if you're on the university grounds. Now I understand why he wasn't upset when he got a ticket :)

yeah, me too

The Toronto parking fines are $30 for parking outside the permitted time periods in the middle of downtown. At home, they start at least twice that, rumour had it going up to $100 in Melbourne before I left.
