Yikes
It's been a while, hasn't it?
And now I'm here, I have no idea what to tell you about. I mean, there's work and there's cycling and there's stuff on the weekends, but I guess I've been so busy doing all of it I haven't thought to update, and now it's gone.
I'll think of something.
Word seems to have reached Higher Up at work that I'm bored and frustrated. Besides giving me training in Specials (I'm the assistant to the registrar, which is cool by me since Mim is easy to work with and thinks I'm the best thing since sliced bread), I've been told I'm going to be given a month as Appeals manager in a couple of months. Tim has been absorbed by Project Nova, the project involved in actually getting us a decent computer program to work with, and so his position needs filling. I forgot to ask, but since it's a level 3 position, there could be higher duties pay involved, which would be rather nice...
The Obsession continues. I'm hoping to ease off for a while once Mental Health Month at the mansion hits in mid-March whilst my girl is off having magical therapy. But in the meantime she's running me ragged. It's good, though - I've been writing more than I have for ages, and for the most part, it's pretty good stuff, or so they tell me.
I need to arrange a housewarming date. Especially now I'm pretty much settled.
