Box O' Rossi
[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] always finds the best memes...
So, say you were meeting a new person - blind date, new friend, who knows. And you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are. But you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to ponder over.
What would you put in the box?
1) The Aussie Music Pusher CD
2) A pair of cycling gloves.
3) A Lonely Planet Guide to Anywhere, with boarding passes stuck in various places as bookmarks.
4) A bottle of red wine and a box of tissues.
5) My phone bill, with the interstate and overseas calls on it.
6) Ticket stubs to My Friend The Chocolate Cake and The Whitlams shows.
7) Escrima sticks.
8) A copy of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere.
9) The sticker off my fridge, the Velocity one, that says: "It is not what you are that holds you back, it is what you think you are not."
10) John Constantine figurine, complete with scale-size pint.
11) A Rememberance Day poppy and my "No War" badge, stuck together.
12) A watch.
