Let the countdown begin!

So, finally I have purchased my tickets to get myself to Dexcon this year. Slight moment of panic as I handed over my credit and key cards and the grand total of approximately $3400 was deducted from them (airfare, tax, insurance), but it's done now and there will be nothing stopping me from being there this year.

Now I can actually get excited about this. Whee!

Have read you talking about Dexcon for a few posts now, and I do not know what it is. Could you let we of the uninitiated know?

No worries. Dexcon's a fanficcer get-together in Toronto that I've been going to for about five years now (missed out last year due to Brokeness). Basically a bunch of us (about 50) get together, talk, drink, write, and laugh a hell of a lot. And then I spent the rest of the nine weeks in Toronto and Vancouver. :)

Extremely geeky, but a lot of fun. ;)
