Bouncy, bouncy, bounce...
Have I mentioned how much I like my new mountain bike? It took me a while to actually get onto it (BRM thought I hated it), but up here there's plenty of places to ride it - it's such a waste to ride something with chunky tyres and suspension on a road. I took it to work this morning, on the bike path; the number of school kids on the path at that time of day doesn't matter, because I can just go around them on the grass. It's like being my skinny ten-year-old tomboy self again, zooming around on this bike, jumping gutters and bouncing over the potholes.
There's a dirt trail over by the hill I walked up last weekend: I'm going to take the mountain bike up there tomorrow morning for a ride. Although fitting a bottle cage to it might be a good idea beforehand. Especially after nearly passing out last weekend in the heat. :P It's been nice this week - nothing higher than 30 degrees C, but the forecast is for a warm weekend. Looks like summer isn't over quite yet, at least not up here in the sunny North East.
