Fruuuuit

I love summer. Aside from the sun and the warm and the increased energy I have when I'm not bloody sick with the flu, there's the fresh fruit. Nectarines and cherries and pineapple and grapes and... yeah. *grins a little sheepishly* I went a little crazy in the supermarket today, after several days of cobbled-together meals since I was too sick to shop. I got cherries and some grapes and of course nectarines - I love nectarines. Adore and love and would do various things for them.

I restrained myself from the half pineapples though - there's no way I could eat one of those on my own before it goes ick. Another way shall be found.

Hmm, I suppose fruit for dinner is a bad thing?

Maybe YOU have summer. I'm afraid to go outside. It's barely thirty degrees outside.

Well, you can make a kind of pineapple curry. I don't have an English-translated recipe at hand, though. ^^

I do massive fruit plates for dinner all the time, though more often so in the summer. :)

The golden rule about what counts as dinner at Bounce's place. :)

If you put it on a plate or in a bowl it's a meal. :) Because it comes in a bowl. With cutlery (even if you don't use the cutlery). If it's not in a bowl or on a plate it's not a meal.

No, seriously, I eat fruit for dinner fairly often in summer.

I'm only a few minutes away...

Considering the other night I had fruit salad (well, mostly mango with other bits in) for dinner, along with quite a lot of champagne whilst playing the Empire Records drinking game, I feel that fruit does count as dinner.

Also, that our lifestyles are simply faaaabulous! (How else could one do what I described above on a work night and still be in bed before 9, having made fresh bread and gossiped with housemates as well).
