The however many-eth day of Christmas....
Christmas isn't over until you spend all your gift vouchers and you stop getting things in the post. Today both of those things happened.
I dropped into Collins Booksellers on the way home today and picked up Mr Norrell and Jonathan Strange, which has been intriguing me for a while. That's a lot of book for your money, might I say. You can probably kill someone with it if you hit them hard enough. ;) Still, should keep me busy for a while. A good while, considering how little of my free time goes towards reading lately... bad me.
I also got not one, but two parcels in the mail. One from Dex, which had Red vs Blue vcds and a CD from Johnny and the Screaming Demons, which is on right now. *giggles* There's a bit from Val's birthday, where Johnny says in the middle of the song "Dex, I didn't know that you danced". Which pretty much sums up Dex's dancing technique.
I also got a book from Benway, which looks to be a lot of fun and is small and light enough to become the latest Bath Book. 'Cause I actually read in the tub. Quite a lot, really, since otherwise I fall asleep and then there's water up the nose and near-drowning and that's not so much fun... But yes, nifty book from Benway. *hugs*
I should also mention here thanks to the other people who sent stuff. I have cards from Kate and Cynjen and Obsidian, plus Seraph's oil burner, Red's CD (Transiberian Orchestra, which is very rock opera-y, and I'm liking it more with every listen) and Willow's vcds which shall keep me busy for many many hours... Thank you all, guys. I have plots for you, that require pay day. Which is tomorrow, thank goodness.
So yeah, feeling rather loved right now. :)

I also was training someone at work today, which was a bit of a pain since she insisted on practically sitting in my lap and I couldn't check my email. *pouts* Still, got her to the point where she had something of her own to do, so it was just the morning...

Most of us went for cajun at Big Daddy's on Sunday. After stuffing ourselves full with blackened everything, we returned to the apartment and John did an acoustic mini-concert. Then there were drinks.
Mock my dancing, will you...

*snickers* Still true about the dancing, tho'.
