Yep, I've been fingerprinted, finally, and my application shall be sent off to the Federal Police in Canberra tomorrow. After much stuffing around with various bureaucracies - apparently there's a three month waiting list for the Federal Police to actually print you, so I called in some favours through work (or rather, got one of my work colleagues to do it), and went up to the Carlton Police Station where a rather nice young constable did the deed.

So, fingerprints on paper, paper to go in envelope tomorrow, envelope to go into the mail. Then results to come back and go to Canadian Immigration. Whee. :)
