Insomnia. All the cool kids are doing it.

Gah. Went to bed at 1:30, got up at around 4am having tried unsuccessfully to sleep. The roomie was also having issues, so we ended up playing cards for a while and watching Clerks until I finally passed out around 5:30 on the couch. Slept til 11 when the mailman buzzed to drop off a package and then dozed until about 3pm.

*sighs*

Waste of a bloody day, I tell you. And I'm thinking reading Battle Royale issues 1-4 in one hit might have been a bit much.

Still, gym in about half an hour, which will at least wake me up.

Perhaps it is contagious. I was marvelously awake at 4am, and should have been doing the work that I haven't been able to do this afternoon because I was so tired. Instead, I was reading a book on early Transatlantic liners, and feeling very thankful for the existence of jets.
