Since I believe I owe people pictures from a while back...

Pretty Night. In all our glory.

Living in Canada has some more pics. Including the world's smallest Christmas tree.

And now bed for me - work tomorrow at 8am. I've had a very lazy day today, but apparently that was what I needed.

Conclusion:

You, less short than I thought! YAY!

Mindy, hot. Not a clue who she is, but good job, miss.

Dex, what is he wearing on his head? Nice pullover, though.

You again, aww! So bundled up and aww. *puts in pocket, runs*

I demand you quit re-awakening my desire to live in Toronto.

*whine* Wanna go back. It's such a pretty city.

Would like to say those photos bring back fond memories of my last trip to Canada. Only I can't, as I don't actually *have* any memories of most of that trip... ;)

I think I vaguely recognise that pub though...

Wow. *laughs* Between you and the two Canadian housemates who keep showing me pictures, I'm getting travel envy. (not that I never had it before, but y'know). Curse you. :)

Damnit. I miss Toronto.

[identity profile] pollymel.livejournal.com 2006-02-27 10:40 am (UTC)(link)
I suddenly got all homesick for it too. *sniffles* Dammit.

*smuggles the tissues away and honks*

I miss Toronto, too. And you.

But man. Johnny cleans up so nicely, don't he?

Me? I have the willpower of a ferret when it comes to pretty pictures.

1) Well, from the way everyone goes on, I expected you to be this little bird of a lady. And you're moderately heighted. UNLESS! ...you were wearing tall shoes, weren't you? Weeeeren't you?

2) *chalks that up on the 'plus' side of visiting*

3) Oh, there will be no mocking of the hat. There will be stealing of the hat. At least, if it was summer. Is a SUMMER HAT. Arghboys.

4) It's ADORABLE! Like River in her spacesuit. Love. *pets in pocket, mwa*

Your pictures make me so happy. I miss you guys. :(
It's because you're so pretty.

You have longer hair now!

(Which just shows how long it's been since I've seen you. . . .)

But you still look cute. ;)

*blows nose*

To add to the general wanting to be away, it appears that the legal department in Melbourne is passing its ailments around the cubicle pod. *sleepy sigh*

Obviously I need to have some more places to be homesick for. It's the only solution.

That, and visiting Toronto. *grins*

[identity profile] philf.livejournal.com 2006-02-28 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, to make things a bit different, you could always try being homesick for places you've never lived in, or even visited.

Have you ever tried being homesick for Milton Keynes, for example? Or Ulan Bator? I hear it's very interesting...
