Silver linings.

So, today was spent going basically insane as we completed the packing and tried to deal with ordinary work in the face of the movers taking away anything that wasn't nailed down last night, including the two boxes I was working out of - filing, stationary, contact books, all that good stuff. Didn't help that today was the day Todd Gnish decided to make my life difficult too - he pointed out one of the court dates we thought we had isn't actually there, so I was calling courts this morning and this afternoon, trying to fix it. Without my phone books. *grrs* Not to mention they invaded the place at 1pm whilst everyone was still here and pretty much nearly injured several people with moving large items of furniture around. *gahs* Hell day, that's for sure.

The good news is that I have tomorrow off. I won't have a computer, so I can't work, and the packing's done so there's no need to do that. Also, the place will be crawling with movers again. So yay. I basically get paid to sleep in, do X-Project and go down and do my laundry. :)

But right now? So incredibly tired. And my back is killing me.

Wait... packing? I've missed a vital part of the story since last weekend, apparently.

Gooood. Man and I thought the neighbors we had evicted were bad. Ours were just noisy as hell. You have someone attempting to rebuild Niagara Falls in your ceiling.

Raining through the *ceiling?* What does she do?

Oh, bloody hell. I'm glad she's getting evicted.

So... not the portable washing machine any more?

Hee. *ahem* The last time there was hole-pokage (and Melinda permission to poke holes) Dex and I exchanged looks of something like suppressed glee at the thought of being able to beat simething up in that huse, and after making the holes drank triple vodka lime and sodas. It's a pity that the dodgy repair work had to be broken again.
