Small things amuse small minds.

I made up a game for myself this afternoon, as I was all fuzzy and befuddled from the nap I took on the couch. Did me good, that did - no more headache, and the baseball-sized knot in my right shoulder has shrunk to a golfball. Something tells me I've been on othe computer too much this week. *grins and rolls eyes*

Any way, here's my game.

Take a CD. Make up a poem, using the song list. The more titles you use in a way that works, the more kudos to you. :)

(It's not unlike the fridge magnet poetry I am so enamoured of)

Here's some I came up with:

***

Wires The Art Of Fighting.

Akula,
Give me tonight,
Just say I'm right.
I don't keep a record;
In no good way
Reasons are all I have left.
Something new:
Moonlight, Wires, Skeletons,
Find you lost.

Score = 11/11

***

Nothing But A Dream Paul Kelly

If I could start today again
Would you be my friend?
I close my eyes and think of you
Somewhere in the city,
The pretty place,
Just about to break.
Midnight rain,
Smoke under the bridge -
Change your mind.
Love is the law
I wasted time.

Score = 11/11.

*grins* Try it, It's quite amusing. Then again, I'm easily amused.

Heading offline now - have a few phone calls to make. BRM's going out for dinner, so I'm taking advantage of the Telstra 1 cent per minute long distance offer and catching up with people.
