Itchy feet.

I've got that travelling urge again. It's been a while since I went anywhere that was an actual travelling-type trip and with people on my friendlist going places and spring advancing, I'm feeling the itch again. No scratching that one in any major way, unfortunately, as I am short on spending money and leave time, but there is Montreal in May with my folks and after that, I can look at trying to save some actual travelling funds and maybe take myself off somewhere, maybe parts of Canada I haven't reached yet or somewhere I glossed over last time. After all, part of the reason for moving here was so I could travel the place a bit more easily.

Maybe it's time to get a new Lonely Planet Guide.

Want to go to Italy with me in October? ;)

Hehe. A very good friend from college works for the Army and they have her near Pisa for about a year and a half, and it's really the perfect excuse to go visit Europe. I plan on spending a week there, assuming I don't use up all my paid leave with Dexcon ;)

Hmm. I did not know that. Learn something new every day!

(I don't know when I'll know exactly when I'll be going. My friend thinks she'll be in Kuwait for the month of September for work, but won't even know that for some time. I probably won't be making any real plans until the summer.)

*grins* Travelling is always good. I've told the parentals here that when I come back for a visit once I've moved over that we're going to go to Uluru. I'm planning on doing the Europe thing myself though once I'm settled.

My brother went all over the place there and said that the food was awesome, as were the sights.

You're getting to Montreal? Cool! Been hoping you'd get a chance to head over there - I reckon you'll really enjoy the trip.

P.S. - not sure if you're after recommendations, but I know a really good sushi place up in Plateau Montreal. Plus there's a great local-beer pub nearby ;)

If you're going to Montreal, please make a note to visit 2500 Boul St Joseph in Lachine. Also known as Rossi Bicycles (http://www.finditinmontreal.com/app/obj/?oid=50520).
And don't forget to have your parents take your picture under the sign, I'll be wanting a copy. :D

I wish Ray could stuff you in her luggage when she visits this weekend. :-(

Oh, yeah, that was a good sushi place. And beer good.

Highly recommend doing the cycling tour of the city, too. That was just brilliant fun.

Hey Jo,

You seriously need a job that involves travel.

Have a happy Easter. Don't overindulge on the chocolates!
