Ow.

So, that .pdf I asked about earlier? I wound up having to switch it to an Excel spreadsheet, which means copying and pasting into Word, using find/replace to do as much of the reformatting as possible, doing the rest by hand, converting text into table several times until I get it right, then copying and pasting it into the spreadsheet. It means I spent from my last post - nearly 12 p.m. - until 6:30 p.m. working on it, without stopping for lunch or anything else, for that matter. I've got two and a bit pages left to go, but once I get it done tomorrow morning, I will be proclaimed as a god of assistants. ;)

Of course, it means I've had no chance to answer any kind of email, and thus XP was busy. I'm in catch-up mode now. Gah. My roomie is also a saint - dinner was on the table waiting for me when I got in.

Oh man, I feel your pain. I've definitely had the "PDF = you cannot has" moment, usually with broker lists. Generally I just end up giving up on the cut/paste and retyping everything manually into Excell; sick as it seems, after a certain point it actually seems faster.
