Up and down week

On Thursday, the roomie's grandmother died. She was in her nineties and has been ill for some time and it wasn't unexpected. She was ready to go and died peacefully. She was a sweet lady, who always made me feel welcome at the family events I met her at.

I won't be able to make the funeral because it's on Monday and I have the meeting to sign my contract that day and absolutely can't miss work, so I'm going to the viewing tomorrow to share my condolescences.
