Ninja Flu

So, on Boxing Day I got the flu. Nothing major, a bit of a cough, seemed to be doing okay. Then yesterday? Augh. Razor blades in my throat, temperature up and down like a rollercoaster, sick as the proverbial dog. I came home from the pub early and passed out in bed, and that's where I still am.

Fortunately, we have a houseguest who does a pretty good job at looking after people, so I've had juice, meds, breakfast and entertainment, when I'm actually awake.

Which is about to end again - eyes are heavy and the body is demanding rest to fight this thing.
