Additional Itinerary

Okay, having spoken to Gerg, here's plans from Epona's place to the end of the week.

Monday 11th Nov: Leave Kingsport, possible lunch in Blacksburg with Twiller, then onto Washington DC.

Tues 12th Nov - Wed. 13th Nov: Washington/Baltimore. Not sure about how this is gonna work - perhaps some kind of get together? Dinner? I'll leave it up to you guys cause my planning ability is just about exhausted.

Wed. 13th: Philadelphia: [personal profile] redhawk and Hex let us know if lunch is possible on this day. If it isn't, perhaps dinner if floorspace can be provided to crash on?

Thurs. 14th: New Jersey for the comic shop, and then onto Toronto. Should be arriving... um, actually, I have no idea. Probably late.

*sighs* Sorry to miss people - I feel bad about it - but I honestly can't do much more.

Dinner works.

Depending on who wants to go - there's two all-you-can-eat Mongolian grill place in Bethesda that might work well.

Lots of vegetable variety for the veggie eaters, much with the meat for us carnivores, and for the most part, everyone's tastes can be accounted for.

Not sure if everyone's into oriental-style stir-fry type food, but since its pretty customizable it seems to be the best bet for "make everyone happy."

Also, I have coupons for both places, so bonus. ;)

How expensive is it other w/o coupons? I'm really funds-limited at the moment...:)

I'm not sure what the cost is for Flattop Grill.

Lunch should be good...

I have a class that gets out at 11, and not much else to do for the rest of the day. So I'm totally available for lunch and all.

The Gods hate me

I'm scheduled for Jury Duty on the 13th of November.

Doesn't mean I'll have to go, but if I do, I'm unavailable that day.

I won't know until the 12th if I have to serve or not. Dammit.

Depends on if I get offered this job I'm trying for. If so, lunch is out, but I could probably make dinner. :) I'll put my mobile number in a friends-locked post for you to retrieve so you have a means of reaching me other than by computer. :)

G'journey. :)

Mate,

I've been noticing a bit of a pattern here. You can't meet people, or reach them because of schedule difficulties, and you feel guilty about it. Stop that! :)

Not entirely sure why you're feeling guilty. This is your holiday, it's about making you feel better and getting you out and well travelled. If you can also meet up with people and have a great time, this is great. But if not, don't feel guilty about it. Afterall, there's always a convention later on that you'll see them at.

And if it's other people making you feel guilty because you can't get to them. Stuff 'em, seriously. They shouldn't be giving you shit because of it.

*hugs* Yes, I know it's in your nature to want to make other people feel good, and this is one of the reasons you're trying to see everyone. But sometimes, you can't. Don't feel guilty about it.

*grins* Oh, by the by. When you reach AusCon, I'm treating you to something incredibly alcoholic and violently coloured, with an umbrella in. (Do you remember what we decided would be in a 'Feminine Core'?) ;)
