Here I am, at home, on the Net again, when I'm supposed to be down the pub, talking to interesting people and getting tipsy. What's wrong with this picture?

Me and my stubborn pride, that's what.

BRM and I had a stupid disagreement, just before we were about to go - I wasn't changed yet, and he got shitty because he didn't want to be late. All I had to do was put on some jeans and a clean shirt and I was ready, but that wasn't fast enough. So when he starts growling, I just daid, "Fine. You go, I'll stay here."

So he did.

And here I am.

*sighs*

Tips on Pride and Drinking

1) Never let pride get in the way of a good drinking session. That's a good waste of time you could be spending with friends.

2) If a guy's carping on you for getting dressed, and you really want to go, tell him to sit his ass down, because it's either wait just a little bit or I'm going naked. If he's truly your friend, he will wait.

3) Never attempt to bluff anyone when it comes to matters like this. It will bite you in the ass in the end.

4) Oh, and bring protection. 'Cause if you drink like I do, things might get amorous. ^_^

I guess the thing that really burned me was the fact he didn't have time to wait for me to get changed (5 mins tops), but had enough time to transfer money into his account over the phone. Now if I'd been less stubborn, I could have gotten changed then. But I'm a dreadful sulker sometimes. :P

Thanks for the comments. You always know how to cheer me up. And yes, number 4 is applicable when I drink too. ;)
