deathpixie: (le tour)

Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oui Oui Oui!

I can't believe this! Not only is Brad McGee still in the yellow, but his team-mate and fellow Aussie, Baden Cooke, has won the most recent stage! He also has the best young rider (white) jersey, this being only his second Tour. I remember last year Eric Zabel, veteran German sprinter, mentioning Baden was someone to look out for, and now he's proving it. This is so cool!

Damn, I wish I could download the video at work - I have to wait until they show it on SBS tonight instead.

So, okay. I know what the white and yellow jerseys are. What's the green one for?

By the way . . .

I hear they're letting the guy with the broken collarbone ride anyway?

Dad and his cycling friends Bill and Linda were talking about it last night at dinner. I think the guy with the broken collarbone is nuts, but then again, I also think my dad is nuts.

All I know right now is that we've got a stock of Shiner Bock in the basement, because, as Dad and Ben (my friend Jebus's dad) say, "It's Lance's beer!"

On jerseys . . .

Green is best sprinter, and polka dot is "king of the mountains." And Rossi? My dad likes the icon Gerg made for you. :)
