Time later for the more detailed and descriptive, but for now I'm brain fried and hungry (Thai for lunch, whee!) and I'm settling for the informative rather than the poetic.

I fly out tomorrow (being Thursday the 8th of January) at 6.15pm. I change planes at LA (yay, American Customs queues again, bleah) and arrive in Melbourne on Qantas flight 94 at 9.30 in the morning. All this is providing nothing untoward happens to the planes, or the weather - it's been interesting for the people who have been coming and going from Chez DexMel.

As far as I know, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is meeting me at the airport at 10am to collect her luggage from me and hopefully give me a lift home (I'm willing to trust your driving, mate, I've survived worse!). From there I will be having a shower, going to the post office, getting a money order for the total of $725 and paying the rent that bounced on my old place. Then I shall be making my way down to St Kilda to pay the rent on the new place and collecting the keys.

After that I shall probably die. Beer may be required to resuscitate me.

Sunday will be my day of rest. I do plan on doing anything other than sleeping, eating, catching up on online stuff and sorting out my [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] character's arrival at the mansion and perhaps some light box packing. Now I have somewhere to move to, I want to move in strght away. Especially after the mess of the last week concerning the rent in the old place. *sighs*

And now I'm going out with Mel for a walk in the lightly falling snow. Catch you all later. :)

Silly Rossi-mama. I already told Mum and Dad that I'm taking the car all day. You will have to direct me though. Along with my driving ability, any (and there wasn't much) sense of direction around Melbourne has vanished during my sojourn in the sometimes-snowy north.

No, it means I work at the place your fine goes to if you don't pay it when you're supposed to - PERIN Court. It's also the place you can go to appeal against decisions you think are unjust and the DoI doesn't agree.
