I donated blood today, since last week was interrupted by random illness. And fate has decreed that blood shall only be taken from the left arm, and that if I try the right, it shall bruise mightily and cause me great pain and anguish, and very little in the way of bleeding...

Okay, being slightly over-dramatic, but seriously, ow. They did manage, however, to get a full bag out of my left in record time, so all's well and all that.

Thank god for the touchpad mouse - it needs less actual moving of the arm.

When they took blood from me I didn't have any bruising afterward. But then, I've never had a problem when I've had blood tests either, so perhaps my veins are just close to the surface or something.

Ouchies about the pain though. *hugs* I'd say that I'd lend you my veins but I'm thinkin' somehow that'd be a bit messy and we'd have to get dressed up in Mad scientist coats and you'd have to walk around like you had a bad back and lisp and stuff. Igorina! *grins*

I'm not allowed to donate (slight liver damage from my train accident...) and given how the Red Cross treated me last time, they can go out and fucking _burn_ for all I care.

But it _is_ good that people are out there doing the Right Thing despite the shitheads.
