The healing power of chilli

There's a lurghi going around... well, everywhere, at the moment, and I'm thinking I'm starting to get it (kind of inevitable, since virtually everyone I know has it, has had it, or is about to have it) I finished work today with that tight head feeling, a bit of a scratchy throat, and the beginnings of a sniffle. So, in order to combat it, I went through the pile of take away menus I've been collecting and found a Thai place in Elwood that delivers with no minimum charge (good if you live on your own like I do and can't be bothered going out to collect said Thai food).

I've just had the most delicious bowl of vegetarian Tom Yum soup ('hot', and believe me, it was) and I have noodles and vegatables to follow. And no more scratchy throat, that's for sure, after all that chilli.

[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]? I think I've found that decent Thai place we were looking for so you could experience good Thai food. :) Glenhuntly Road isn't that far away, and they do deliver. :)

Speaking of which, I've sent you the final version of the last part, but it may have been delayed. If you don't receive it soon, post the version you have got, and it can always be edited later. It's only a very small change, really, just one extra paragraph.

Where is it in Glenhuntly Road, exactly? I live up the other end from where I'm guessing it is, but there's a tram that goes down that way an good Thai food is Of The Strong ...

Me like Thai food...

Especially since I'm also suffering through the dreaded lurghie along with most of the rest of Melbourne. This thing is getting very irritating - I haven't had a beer in days.
