So, what happened to me over the weekend?

Many, many apologies [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] for missing your birthday thing - my brother and his Intended came down on Saturday, and so I was internet-free the entire day/night, so of course when I crawled (in a rather hungover state) out of bed the next day, I missed your post, buried underneath all the other friends posts. Email I possibly would have gotten sooner, mate.

*insert grovelling here*

Any way, the weekend. Was good - I got to see David again, and meet Belinda in a sober frame of mind, and have all sorts of socialness. Wiped myself out fairly majorly, but after two or three weeks sans alcohol at all, I figured I was probably due. Oh! And I spoke to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] on the phone after what... three months? Something like that. Much of the good. Now I just have to get off my arse and call [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com].

I also possibly have a new Friend. *grins* And since he called back last night (missed it, being online), things are looking hopeful that he will be a Friend and not a once-of, which would be nice. Good things and waiting, and all that. He's a pilot, and he's a Lucksmiths and Joss Whedon fan. Works rather well. And, speaking of which, I must get offline to call him. And possibly Mum, since I missed her call on Sunday. :P It's turning into a phone-y kind of evening.

Can't give you a timeframe as the busyness has led to "I'm home when I'm home". Not Wednesdays is the best advice I can give. I would ring you but (a) I have to go back a lot of posts to find your phone number and I'm lazy *g* and mostly (b) my landlord/roomie has a thing where only the first 20 minutes of the STD phone call is cheap and like we'll ever manage to keep a phone call down to 20 minutes. If you are sensible enough to have the much longer cheap phone call option, that would be of the good. I have no work phone or number, so that option is now out!

But ring - yes. There is much gossip (on both sides!) to catch up on *g*.
