Another interview today (I have to leave in about half an hour) with another employment agency, this time for more administrative assistant type work. Should take about two hours, including the software testing. *gleeps* Here's hoping I do well - wish me luck!

Edit: Well, the Word one went great. Excel and Powerpoint? Kind of average. No actual jobs they're going to throw me at now, but they'll 'keep an eye out'. Still, got some advice on my resume too that'll come in handy.

let me tell you - those tests are so so SO EASY.

you should call Hunt Personnel, too, if you're looking for agency work. they're who I'm registered with.

They're easy if you know the program. Last time I used Excel was in university. :P And Powerpoint? Nada.

And considering I'm looking for _any_ work that pays more than minimum wage and uses something approximately my skills, I'll try it out.

do you know how to save a program? do you know how to open a new program? do you know how to bold things? there's 50% of your test right there. also, powerpoint is so easy - if you want to practice for 10 minutes before you get there you'll know 90% of what there is to know about it.

The Excel test was a little more complicated than that - I don't know how to do formulae in cells, or half the other functions they wanted. Scored 40% overall. But they did give me the results, so I can study what I didn't know and do better next time.

Powerpoint was actually better - it _is_ pretty easy to do. Just not the best environment for learning, especially when you only get two attempts at doing something. But again, got the results, shall study it for next time.

You aced the Word one, which is what you know the best, and did less-well on Excel and Powerpoint.

_Now you know what you have to bone up on_! They did you a huge favor, if you ask me.
