Last leg

So, I'm leaving to catch the plane to Sydney in a couple of hours, and then I spend the night with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] before getting on the plane back to Toronto. I have to say this, I'll be glad to get back to my own bed. My neck is killing me atm. :P

It's been a good trip. Eye-opening in terms of personal stuff, frustrating sometimes and fantastic in others. I'll miss the place when I'm gone.

Mel's definition of 'home' is somewhere where the shower works just right. I'm reworking mine again.

I'd say it was where my bed - feather duvet, two feather pillows, one body pillow, sateen sheets, firm mattress, foam cover, Harry Potter fleece throw - is, but. That's still not quite right either.

I'll have to think about it too.

Personally I'd say that at least some of my definition of 'home' is somewhere that feels safe. A fair bit of the rest of it is that it's got my bed and (at least a few) of my books in it.
