I've come to depend/ On the strangeness of kind friends

It has been a memorable birthday indeed. Especially considering it's lasted a week. ;) Today is the actual day itself, although the party was on Sunday, and I'm sitting here counting my blessings in the form of my family and friends. Yes, the roomie is correct in stating that if I say I feel like no-one cares I deserve a beating after this week. ;)

But yes, thank you to my friends, those who came to my party and those who couldn't but expressed well wishes, those who sent gifts (the Amazon parcels are getting scary!) and those who sent e-cards. And thank you to my family, who are so very far away, but haven't forgotten me.

Edit: And since it might relieve people's minds... Yes, I got the parcels/letters in the mail from the following. You all rock my world so much:

Bounce (and yes, I passed on your cards to the other two - you were in plenty of time)
Seraph (but you knew that two months ago. ;) )
B & H (last night - thanks, guys! *hugs*)
Mum and Dad (music, yay! Hilly! New Chocolate Cake album!
Lee (who doesn't read LJ but who got an email this morning)

I'll probably babble about actualities in gifting later, when I'm less sleepy.
