Best laid plans...

So, due to various reasons, I really, really wanted to see Stardust last night. Made the arrangements to meet folks there, got myself down to the theatre (slightly late because of the stupid subway), only to discover that it had sold out. Woe. So Rachel and I ended up at the Friar and the Firkin instead, and had dinner and a few drinks.

Second attempt shall be made Monday after work. Having checked the times, there's a 7:25 pm showing that'll work nicely. And maybe this time we'll get a Mindy too.

Also, insomnia sucks. I passed out watching Mirrormask last night and staggered off to bed around 1 am, then got woken up when the roomie came home and couldn't go back to sleep until about 5:30 this morning. And I was up again at 9:30. *pokes brain with a fork* I can see me needing nap time sometime today.

Box faaaan! Seriously, blocks out all stumbling roomie noises but doesn't keep one up. And we know how wonky I sleep.

I wasn't sleeping well any way - lots of waking up and dropping off again. I've got the air con in my room, but it's been getting too cool in the evenings to use it. Sleeping just wasn't to be last night, apparently.

Yeah, I've been leaving mine off too, but put it on yesterday since there was going to be getting ready/packing car stomping this morning. Yay for down duvets! ;)

*frowns at* No sleepy and grr stomach speaks ill. Anything I can do?

It's just the result of a long week, mate. Things are clearing up, tho', so I'll be fine, just having a bit of a reaction to various stressors I haven't been able to do anything about. *hugs* Your company this afternoon would be wonderful. :)

Oh, I tooootally understand that one. My stomach is doing odd things today as well, ow. Just meant if you needed someone to make you tea or throw the cats down for a nap, hah.

The small children in my neighbourhood maaaay be driving me to insanity today.
