Dear Canadian Taxation Department:
Thank you very much for the cheque that came in the mail yesterday. I have no idea what a GST adjustment is, or why you do this occasionally throughout the year, but the $90.50 came in very handy. My blood pressure and my overdraft are grateful.

Dear Air Conditioning At Work:
It's October and 13 degrees C outside. Please to be turning off now before I freeze to death? I shouldn't have to wear a coat at my desk. Plus, my nose is running and my mouse hand has gone numb.

I have some gloves which are sort of like leg-warmers-for-arms and they are pretty good for typing and keeping your hands less freezing. I have a spare pair which are black and white, if you would like them (or at least to try them out).

Thanks, but I also have gloves that can be worn typing. They are in my winter coat, since October seemed far too early to need them. My work is silly. :P
