And in better, more positive news...

1) Yesterday I went thrift store shopping with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] for work clothes. I budgeted $80 for the venture. For $81.25, I got the following:

  • 3 pairs of pants

  • 5 skirts

  • 3 shirts

  • All of which are fabulous and actually look good, because I had the fashionista there and she basically grabbed stuff and made me try it on. Today I'm wearing one of the shirts (blue stripes, very professional looking, and yet also looks good with jeans), and a skirt (dark grey/navy-ish wool with a lighter grey check, about the same length as the Swishy Black Miniskirt (TM) ). I'm also wearing the perfume I got from Lauren for Christmas, because I really needed the boost today and it smells so good.

    2) I got approved for a Dead Like Me game I found over on Insane Journal. Whether it actually starts up remains to be seen, but for now, I have my new boy - Andy, the Australian backpacker/hippie type who died in the 1970s after contracting hepatitis B in India, and who has Ben Lee as his face. ;)

    3) I spoke to Jane and there was no Disappointment. I do need to go get her files for next week ready tho'.

    4) I need coffee.

Skirt 6 and 7 from your closet are being re-waisted as we speak! You can tell because I just sneezed 6 times in a row and had to get a tissue!

...stoopid wool. Stupid knitter being allergic to wool.

Dude, if you're wearing the Dolphin Necklace of Love (also TM) which has my chain, and if I get you shoes or something, I can be entirely responsible for your Work Ensemble Hot Self. Daaaymn.

    2) tee! I still love him. A lots.

    3) You are so awesome. And are already started on next week, meaning you got caught up before noon.
    3b) You are SO AWESOME.

    4) ...dude, me too.

Well, it helps that I loooove you. *beams!*

Oh, I'm totally willing to share with QB. She and I share Steve Madden love. That is a Special Bond.

    2) *giggle* Yes, you poor thing, you have to wait, what? Three more hours? *teases*

    3) I know, I know, but you're really efficient, lady. I'm just saying.

    4) Don't you love it when that happens? I love getting exactly what I want.

Oh! And I forgot to ask: on your trousers, did you want the same hem (that is, a cuff) or a regular hem?

*laughs* Goose. You're fine at dressing yourself. You just hadn't really paused to think, "Okay. What looks best on In Canada Right Now Rossi?"

Example, layering. How were you supposed to know about layering when you come from Australia, huh?

Wow! That's great shopping. I don't suppose I could borrow your fashionista? :)
