Poll! V-Day Movie Choices!

So, tomorrow there is the Plan Called George. And part of Operation: George is that I'm going to go see a movie, something suitably engrossing and preferably not heavy on the romance. I've managed to narrow the field down to four, but I can't quite decide. The Spiderwick Chronicles are on at 7:45 p.m. at the IMAX, which is a bit earlier than I wanted (I want to try and fill up the whole evening), and Juno is apparently fantastic, and not terribly romantic from the reviews I've been reading, but does deal with Teh Babies. Or I could go completely non-romantic with No Country For Old Men, which is also reportedly made of awesome, or the dubious-quality but very shiny effects movie Jumper, which starts today.

Dilemma, dilemma.

So, I'm asking for your suggestions. You guys should know me well enough to know what I like and don't like. ;)

While Juno is an awesomely fantastic movie and I reccomend it for everyone, it deals very heavily with relationships. One falls apart, and another comes together. I rather NOT reccomend it for you for V-Day.

Seconded!

Oh, gods yes, I should have read the post before getting distracted by the Tickybox! Juno's great but definitely not 'avoiding V-day' material. Change my vote to Spiderwick.

Is Persepolis showing? You'd love that. Other than that... Jumper. So you can review it for me. :-)

Oooh! Oooh! There Will Be Blood. Mostly 'cause I want to see it. :-) I do suck at this.

No Country For Old Men is, hands down, the best movie I've seen in the last 12 months, possibly longer. And unless you have a truly earth-shattering home cinema system, then it *will* be better in the cinema.

No tickybox? I am sad.

Alas, though I can see how that would be annoying, yes. Perhaps only tickyboxes should you ever make polls that do not require vital and useful input from people?

I don't know if it's gotten any good reviews or not, but how about In Bruges (http://imdb.com/title/tt0780536/)? It's a weird fantastical hitman movie. And it's got Colin Farrell (who's hot again now that he's shaved and back to short brown hair).
