That wacky rollercoaster called life...
Just thought I ought to update on me, since it's been a while. Mostly because there hasn't been a lot of change in my life. However, here's the update.
Work: mid year review today. I should kick butt, having gotten most of my goals and then some completed in six months. Still waiting on the training course for the computer system I need but at least I have an ID now. Full contract signing in March, with all the perks.
Diet: I'm pretty much officially back to meat, including steak (omg, I see what the fuss is about now!) and bacon (although carefully since it's the most iffy of all the meat things). I've also discovered the joy of a protein high, although like every other dietary high I have, the crash sucks later. :P Now to get back to the gym, since I'm having serious "I hate my body" issues atm and I'm getting tired of clothes that don't fit.
Health: 'Flu's on its way out, although I still have the cough and a sniffle. The anti-depressants are still going well, although the dreams are still a bit disturbing. At least they're making more sense - back to one of my basic "even a Psych 101 student could interpret this one" dreams last night.
Personal: Scrabble nights died off, unfortunately. :( Not much else to report. A certain icon keeps popping up in my mind's eye.
Travel: Back to Australia in March to see my niece when she's born (due in January). I figure if I can swing it around Easter holidays, I'll be able to get three weeks of vacation with only losing a week's pay.
Kitties: Still crazy, although mostly settling down. Spike is huge and Angel likes to sleep on my bed of a night and keep me company.

meetup.com has several book clubs that look really interesting; the Literature and Libations one looks awesome, and could be something to check out in December. I'm thinking of trying out the knitting one on Wednesdays, myself...

He was so pitiful, too, while he kept patting me. "Moooove. Mooooove. Aw, blast, she's asleep."

Spike kept getting my toes, though. He'd look at me, nibble, and then look back to get his head scratched. -.-

Told ya! :P
